Week of August 24-28

We have started our Journey's stories, the focus of this week is Families.  We are working on the letters, Ff, Gg, Hh, Ii, Jj, Mm and Ss.  Our high frequency words are I and red.  We are still reviewing and practicing routines and procedures.  We have started writer's workshop during full day Kindergarten.  Students are doing a great job telling on paper (writing sentences.)

Important Things to remember: One in a Melon Watermelon social on Friday, August 28th.  Morning K 11:00-11:15, Full day K 2:45-3:00

Thank you to all those that helped Mrs. Strobel get her classroom rug!  Her Donor's Choose project has been funded!!!  The new rug should arrive within 3 weeks!
