Community Helpers

We are learning about different careers this month.  We are in need of parents, grandparent, aunts, uncles or family friends that want to share about their jobs.  We only need about 10-15 minutes of your time, as we have very short attention spans!! Please considering sharing with us.

We will be visiting Hy-Vee and the Fire Station next Tuesday as part of our learning about careers.  

Math- we are working on numbers 6-10.  We will continuing to work on proper number formation and counting objects and recording which groups have, more, fewer or the same.

Guided Reading- we have started working in small reading groups.  We are developing basic reading skills with all students.  Please practice letter sounds and rhyming words with your child.  

Please continue working on sight words,  students will need to know all words within 3 seconds.  The black words are expected to be known by end of kindergarten, blue words are extra!
