Happy Kansas Day!
We will celebrate Kansas’
birthday on January 29th. We
will look at how schools and students have changed over the past 100+
years! We will incorporate our state
flower, the sunflower, into our learning.
We will have a super busy
week with our 100th Day of school on February 4th. We will dress like we are 100 years old, and
take some cool photos with an aging app!
Look for those on Class Dojo. We
will be doing a lot of counting to 100 by ones, twos, fives and tens.
Sight word for this week are: him, her, some, when.
We will continue to work on adding stories.
We are combining numbers up to 10 and
comparing numbers 0-10.
We will write
number sentences for 6-10.
10=2+8 9=5+4
