Going Batty!
Exploring animal life cycles, the needs of animals; food, shelter, and appropriate environment. We will read White Owl, Barn Owl, owl non-fiction, Scaredy Squirrel, and Squirrels Leap, Squirrels Sleep. We will also, read Stellaluna, Bat Loves the Night, and some non-fiction bat books. We will understand that animals live in environments in which their needs can be met.
We are continuing to build our number sense of numbers from 0 to 10. We work to build numbers to 10, break apart, and count varying objects to ten.
Parent Teacher Conferences are coming up! Please make sure you follow the link sent out by Mrs. Veatch to the Sign Up Genius. You will need to click on the correct kindergarten teacher and then touch go, if you are using a phone.
If you do not touch go, you will end up signing up on Mrs. Davis' conference page. If this happens your conference will be deleted and you'll be emailed asking you to sign up again. This could potentially leave you without your desired conference time.
