Week of November 9-13, 2015

Math - We are working on counting to 100.  We will be using a one hundred chart to assist us.  Students will be expected to fill in missing numbers on the one hundred chart.  We will count by 2s, 5s, and 10s to 100 as well.

Shared Reading- We are reading The Relatives Came by Cynthia Rylant.  We will be discussing family for the next week.

Writing- We are working on "How to writing". Students will be able to write directions on how to complete tasks.

Guided Reading - PLEASE send the plastic reading baggies back every single day!!! It is very hard to keep reading groups going when we do not have our sentence books, envelopes, or books.

Social Studies/Science- We are learning about seasons.  We will be discussing how to dress appropriately for the weather.

SELF HELP SKILLS- please, please help your child learn how to tie shoes, put on jackets, turn sleeves the correct way, and zip jackets.  We will help students but it is difficult to help 20 kiddos at a time!!

Square One Art is due November 17th.  Please remember to turn in orders ASAP!!  There are no late orders!
