We will begin our intense letter boot camp this week. We will focus on the letters A,B, C, and D. Each day we will learn the action for the letter and the song that goes with it. The songs can be found on YouTube.

We will focus on the sight words to, he, my, like.
Why do people have jobs? We will discuss different careers and the purpose of them over the next two weeks. We will discuss our community and the places within the community; such as the post office, hospital/doctor's office, grocery store, police station, fire station, dentist, park, school, and student homes. We will visit Hy-Vee and Fire Station #2 on Friday, September 13th as a culminating activity. Look for a permission slip to come home next week.
We will begin our work on learning to count to 1-5. We will focus on proper number formation, and using one to one correspondence when counting. We will work on placing the numbers in the correct order from 0-5 over the next three weeks.
